Recently, 30 tons of Dangshan pear from the cold storage base of Dangshan orchard in Anhui province set off on a cold chain transport vehicle bound for Thailand. This marks the first time in recent years that Dangshan orchard's pears have entered the Southeast Asian market through a self-operated export model.
This batch of high-quality Dangshan pears comes from Henglou Village, Chengzhuang Town, Dangshan County, exported by Anhui Agricultural Reclamation Group Dangshan Orchard. The fruits were manually selected, with individual weights over 200 grams each, and feature smooth surfaces without any pests or diseases. The cold chain vehicle maintained a constant temperature of 0°C to 5°C throughout the journey, with real-time temperature monitoring to ensure the pears remain fresh and juicy upon arrival in Thailand.
Since the beginning of this year, Dangshan pears have been continuously expanding their export channels. On October 4, 2025, the first batch of 50 tons of Dangshan pears from Dangshan County arrived at the Khorgos Port in Xinjiang, successfully exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the other five Central Asian countries.
