Agro initiative distributes 140 tons of food to 230 social entities

Food insecurity remains a reality for millions of Brazilians, and coordinated efforts between institutions and producers have proven essential to expanding access to adequate food. Since September 2024, iCrop's "Irrigating Dreams" program and Sesc Mesa Brasil have joined forces to create a continuous network for donating food from agricultural production surpluses. The result is already significant: over 140 tons of food have been donated to 230 social entities, impacting more than 80,000 people in various regions of the country. The initiative connects the countryside with organizations that combat hunger and emerges in a context of growing demand for solutions that integrate productive efficiency and social responsibility, bringing farmers closer to structured donation programs.
