Russian sausage producers have the potential to increase their exports abroad to 80,000 tons and $200 million in value, according to a new report by the Federal Center for the Development of Exports of Agricultural Products. The report highlights that Russia is among the top 15 largest exporters of sausages and prepared meat products, having exported 55,800 tons worth $126.5 million in the past year. The main driving force behind the growth in this market is the global demand for convenient and quick-cooking food products that cater to fast-paced urban lifestyles.
