Agroexport assessed the export potential of Russian sausages

Russian sausage producers can increase supplies abroad to 80,000 tons in kind and 200 million US dollars in monetary terms. This forecast was given in its new analytical review by the Federal Center for the Development of Exports of Agricultural Products (Agroexport, owned by the Ministry of Agriculture). In it, analysts recalled that Russia is on the list of the world's 15 largest exporters of these goods. According to them, over the past year our country exported 55,800 tons of such products totaling 126.5 million US dollars. At the same time, the review notes that over the same period, global consumption of sausages and prepared meat products exceeded 32 million tons, which, in turn, is 2.4 percent higher than in 2021.
