Company "AGRONOVA" has completed the harvest of early crops, threshing about 10,000 hectares of winter and spring wheat, as well as peas.
According to the company, the average wheat yield was 30 tons/ha, although on individual plots it reached 58 tons/ha. At the same time, some areas suffered from May frosts, which reduced the yield on them to 15 tons/ha.
About 40% of the harvested wheat corresponds to the second grade—with a protein content of 13.3% and gluten over 24%.
About 1,000 tons of peas were harvested with an average yield of 18 tons/ha, and test plots of chickpeas and flax yielded 13 tons/ha each.
At the end of August, "AGRONOVA" began harvesting soybeans—400 hectares out of 2,300 have already been threshed. The campaign for corn and sunflower will start soon.
