The president of the agency, Edegar Pretto, announced a contribution of R$ 106 million that will be allocated to seven states (Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Goiás, Sergipe, and Alagoas) aimed at purchasing powdered milk. In total, 2.5 million tons of milk will be acquired, with 1.1 million tons from Rio Grande do Sul, where the material will be stored at the Conab facility in Canoas.
