Rapeseed oilseed cultivation has begun in Dezful city on 848 hectares, with a target of 9,000 hectares on both irrigated and dry land. With its strategic importance in improving soil fertility during wheat crop rotation, rapeseed could help increase production. The cultivation period usually starts in the second half of October and goes on until the end of November, and factors such as choosing the right planting date, variety, fertilizers, and care network will affect the yield of the product. Dezful city is an important area for domestic rapeseed production in Iran, thanks to the collaboration between Shahid Rajaei and Shahid Beheshti cultivation and industries.
