The Minister of Supply and Internal Trade in Egypt, Dr. Ali Al-Moselhy, has announced that the country has a sufficient bean supply until the end of the year, refuting claims of a price increase or shortage. To ensure this, the ministry has allowed imports and banned exports, except for pre-contracted canned legumes. The minister also confirmed that the annual "Hello Ramadan" exhibitions will offer discounts of up to 35% on 15 commodities, including staples like rice, oil, and sugar. Furthermore, the minister urged commercial chains to designate a 'Hello Ramadan' section in their outlets, selling Ramadan bags containing various goods at different price points.
