Egypt: Potato exports exceeded one million tons in 2023

Mr. Al-Qasir, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, held a meeting to discuss ways to increase Egypt’s potato exports, in the presence of Abdul Hamid Al-Demerdash, Chairman of the Export Council for Agricultural Crops, some of the ministry’s leaders, and a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. During the meeting, Al-Quseir stressed the efforts and measures taken by the state in the field of promoting agricultural exports, as they have invaded most of the world’s markets and are in increasing demand from all countries, pointing out the necessity of preserving the good reputation of our exports and building on it.
