The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Mr. Al-Qusair, announced the resumption of Egyptian onion exports to Saudi Arabia, following successful discussions with Saudi Minister Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli. This move is part of Egypt's broader efforts to enhance its global export system. Onion exports, which had been previously halted, recommenced at the beginning of April to coincide with the new harvest season. Since then, Egypt has exported over 6,000 tons of onions to various countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking a significant step in bolstering bilateral trade relations.
