The 11th Almond Tree Festival has commenced in Tafraoute, Morocco, presided over by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch. The festival emphasizes the significance of the almond tree in Moroccan agriculture and seeks to enhance the heritage of the Anti-Atlas and improve local living conditions. As part of the 'Green Generation 2020-2030' strategy, Morocco aims to expand almond cultivation by an additional 108,000 hectares by 2030.
