Almond production will grow by 5% and will reach around 128,000 tons in 2025

Spain will produce 127,639 tons of almond grain, 5% more than in 2024, according to the first joint estimate by Asaja, COAG, UPA, Agro-alimentarias Cooperatives, and the Spanish Association of Dried Fruit and Carob Producers Organizations (Aeofruse). This first campaign estimate is 34% above the average of the last four years (95,431 tons). According to Agro-alimentarias Cooperatives, this year's productive area is 609,514 hectares, 10.27% more compared to last year, with over 56,000 additional hectares in production in both irrigated and rainfed land, especially in the Murcia Region, Castilla-La Mancha, and Valencia Community.
