In 2023, Primorye, one of the top five Russian regions for agricultural exports, shipped nearly 220 thousand tons of corn, valued at $57.7 million, to Asia-Pacific countries including China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Georgia. This contributed to the region's total agricultural exports exceeding $1.9 billion under the 'International Cooperation and Export' national project, with key products being fish, seafood, soybeans, and corn.
