Almost half of Luxembourg cows milked by robot

In Luxembourg, 44.5 percent of MPR cows are milked by a robot. This is evident from the 2023 annual figures of the Luxembourg studbook organization Convis. Of all MPR farms, 41.1 percent milk with a milking robot. Five years ago that percentage was still 28.2 percent. For the first time, the number of MPR farms fell below the limit of 500.
