The National Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA) has distributed 10,000 high-quality pre-basic potato tubers of the INIA 323 Huayro Amazonense variety to the District Municipality of Longuita in the Amazon region. This genetic material is expected to enhance the quality of agricultural production for small and medium-sized farmers. The variety is known for its resistance to pests, tolerance to climate types, increased harvest per hectare, and good culinary texture.
