During April, May, and June, the monthly export target of 200,000 tons of rice was achieved, and over 600,000 tons of rice were cumulatively exported in these three months of the fiscal year.
Myanmar rice is primarily exported to European markets, Chinese markets, ASEAN markets, and African markets, with approximately 60 companies involved in export activities.
In the previous fiscal year, Myanmar exported a total of 2.48 million tons of rice to foreign countries.
