An action plan has been determined for pistachios and cotton in Şanlıurfa.

Under the leadership of Şanlıurfa Governor Hasan Şıldak, the final meeting of the preparations for the Peanut and Cotton Action Plans initiated in the city was held. Presentations were made during the meeting, which focused on improving the quality and productivity of cotton, known as "white gold," and peanuts, known as "green gold," in Şanlıurfa, while problems and solution proposals were also discussed. In addition to Şanlıurfa Governor Hasan Şıldak, the meeting was attended by Deputy Governors, District Governors, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Hasan Karataş, GAP Administration President Hasan Maral, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), chamber presidents, and farmers.
