More than 470 million rubles (approximately 4.7 million euros) will be additionally allocated to subsidize the preferential loan program for the improvement of private residential homes located in rural areas.
The funds allocated from the government's reserve fund will allow the continuation of subsidizing 21.5 thousand loans provided in the period 2020–2024 for property improvement at an interest rate of up to 5%.
The obtained loans can be used for connecting rural homes to electricity, water, and gas supply, sewage, and heating, as well as for the repair of engineering systems and roofs.
With the new financing, the total amount of subsidies for the program in 2025 will exceed 1.2 billion rubles (approximately 12 million euros).
The initiative is being implemented within the framework of the state program "Comprehensive Development of Rural Territories," approved by the government at the instruction of the president in 2019.
