Andalusia's agri-food exports reached a record high of 7,756 million euros in the first seven months of 2021, a 7.3% increase from the previous year. The region leads in food and beverage exports in Spain, contributing over 22.6% of the total. There was a notable increase in the number of exporting companies, by 19.8% year-on-year. The growth is driven by the sales of eight out of the top ten exported products, with fish, shellfish, and other fats and oils showing the highest growth. Germany remains the top destination for these exports, followed by France and Italy. The United States is the first non-EU destination, showing a 5.6% growth.
