Over the past 30 years in Turkey, there has been a decrease in the number of horses, donkeys, mules, camels, pigs, buffalos, domestic cattle, angora goats, and ducks. However, there has been an increase in the number of cultured cattle, sheep, goats, and chickens. The decrease in animal existence was most notable in horses, donkeys, and mules, attributed to technological advancements in agriculture and transportation.
