Belgium has experienced its third avian flu infection in December, affecting fifteen poultry farmers in the same area. A fourth infection also occurred across the border in Warhem, France, leading to restrictions in a zone partially located in Belgium. Protection zones of 3 and 10 kilometers have been set up around the source of infection, with a mandatory shielding obligation for all poultry and birds within these zones. Additionally, since December 9, a cage and shielding obligation has been in force in Belgium, requiring all poultry to be kept indoors or under nets.
