The Coalition For Another CAP, which brings together 51 entities from different sectors, has called this Friday for a reinforcement of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) as a condition for the approval of the future budget of the European Union (EU). The organization has shared the demands of the four main parties of the European Parliament, which have sent a letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, demanding an increase in CAP funds and thereby conditioning their support for the multiannual financial framework 2028-2034.
