The article highlights the success of two Vietnamese families, Mrs. Nong Thi Phuong and Mr. To Xuan Duc, in cultivating cucumbers, generating substantial income. The initiative is part of a program organized by Minh Tam Cooperative, which provides support and buys the produce at market prices. The cucumber cultivation in Tuyen Quang province has proved to be four to five times more profitable than growing corn and rice, with the province having 315 hectares of cucumber cultivation and over 2,239 participating households. The program aims to provide a stable income source and promote economic development in rural areas.
