In the Yüksekova district of Hakkari, near the Iranian border, an early winter has led to an unusual apple harvest on snow in the Sarıyıldız Neighborhood of Esendere Town. Necip Büyüksu and his family are diligently picking apples at an altitude of 2,000 meters, laying them on the snowy ground before crating them. Despite the harsh conditions, they anticipate harvesting around 12,000 tons of apples this year. Yüksekova District Agriculture and Forestry Director Mehmet Emin Yiğit visited the family to provide support and wish them a successful harvest.
