[Kim Gwantae, Korea Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper Reporter] The "Fit for the Countryside Again" Clean Countryside Campaign, jointly hosted and organized by the Korea Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper and the Central Federation of Successor Farmers and Fishermen in Korea, was held in six regions across the country for a month in November. Starting in Damyang, Jeonnam (on the 10th), followed by Wanju, Jeonbuk (on the 14th), Cheorwon, Gangwon (on the 18th), then on the 25th in Cheongsong, Gyeongbuk, and on the 26th in Taean, Chungnam, and Namhae, Gyeongnam, the successor farmers and fishermen energetically carried out practical activities to create a sustainable rural environment. Participants empathized that more attention and participation are needed for the issue of rural waste, and the government and local governments should also provide more active support.
