Approval for Jeju livestock export facility in Singapore completed

All six Jeju livestock processing plants for export to Singapore have received approval from the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced that the certification process for Jeju Hanwoo and pork export plants was finalized after the Singapore Food Agency additionally approved two plants, including the Jeju Livestock Cooperatives pork processing plant and agricultural corporation Montrak, on November 26. The province applied for registration of the six livestock processing plants with the Singapore Food Agency after receiving foot-and-mouth disease vaccine-free zone certification from the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) on May 29, and achieved approval for all of them within six months.
