[Korea Farmers' News Agency, reporter Kang Jae-nam] All six Jeju livestock processing facilities for export to Singapore have received approval from the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced that the certification process for Jeju Hanwoo and pork export facilities was finally completed on November 26, when the Singapore Food Agency additionally approved two facilities: the Jeju Livestock Cooperatives Export Meat Processing Plant and the agricultural corporation Mont Rack. The province applied for registration of the six livestock processing facilities with the Singapore Food Agency after receiving the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Vaccine Clean Region certification from the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) on May 29, and all received approval within six months.
