The Mato Grosso Soybean and Corn Producers Association (Aprosoja MT) is closely monitoring the issuance of Decree No. 1,795/2025, published in the Official State Gazette on the last day 30, which regulates article 2 of Law No. 12,709/2024, responsible for establishing criteria for the granting of fiscal and public land incentives to companies that participate in exclusionary agreements to production, in the manner of the Soy Moratorium. The entity evaluates as positive and necessary the initiative of the Executive Power to regulate the law, especially in light of the definition by the Federal Supreme Court that the provision will begin to take effect from January 2026. The regulation provides greater predictability to the institutional environment, strengthens legal security, and establishes formal administrative procedures for the investigation of possible non-compliance, with respect to the adversarial principle and broad defense.
