Apurímac in Peru certify production places to export avocados to Russia

The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) reported that the Cooperativa Agraria Avocados Apurímac will allocate, for the first time, its production to Russia; after complying with the phytosanitary requirements and achieving the certification of the place of production with the support of Senasa. The 17 partners of Avocados Apurímac own an area of 80 hectares of avocados in the hot Pincos Valley, in the province of Andahuaylas. In order to commercialize this product in international markets, it entered into a strategic alliance with the Nuestra Tierra de Huaral company.
