Arequipa prepares for the Regional Purple Corn Festival

From October 30 to November 2, the Arequipa region will celebrate the Regional Purple Corn Festival at the Cerro Juli Fairground, within the framework of Expo Agro 2025. During the event, attendees will be able to enjoy exhibitions, tastings, contests, technical talks, and the best of Arequipa's tradition surrounding this emblematic crop. The festival aims to highlight the nutritional value of purple corn and showcase the diversity of its derivatives through exhibitions, gastronomic proposals, and technical activities.
