Arequipa: Strengthening trout farming in the Chachas association

With the aim of boosting aquaculture activity in the highland areas, the Regional Government of Arequipa, through the Competitive Fund Procompite Tecnológico, delivered galvanized steel cages to the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Tolconi, from the district of Chachas, in the province of Castilla. The delivered equipment, valued at S/34,200, is part of the execution of the business plan "Improvement of the production of eviscerated rainbow trout through the adoption of technology for the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Tolconi," which seeks to promote the modernization and efficiency of fish production in the region.
