Argentina milestone: exporting certified deforestation-free beef for the first time to Europe

For the first time in its history, Argentina exported deforestation-free beef. The shipment, destined for Germany - the main buyer of Argentine meat in the European Union - "represents a fundamental advance within the framework of the export promotion policies promoted by the National Government, together with the export sector, since it strengthens livestock production with low environmental footprint, in line with the demands of the main markets in the world,” Senasa reported on Wednesday (05/15/2024).
