Argentina's beef exports in the first nine months of 2024 reached a 57-year high, generating US$ 2.122 billion from sales of 699,987 tons. There was a significant increase in exports to the United States, Chile, Israel, and the European Union, with these countries accounting for 99% of transactions. The majority of exports were frozen bone-in and boneless cuts. Cattle slaughtered from January to September 2024 totaled 10.22 million, an increase from the average of 9.9 million from 2017 to 2022.
