Argentina's beef exports have seen a significant increase, generating revenue of $2.122 billion from January to September 2024, marking the highest in 57 years. The total sales amounted to 699,987 tons, with the United States experiencing a 46% increase in beef imports. There was also a notable rise in shipments to Chile, Israel, the EU, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Canada, and Malaysia. Chilled beef made up 16% of exports, while the rest were frozen. Argentina slaughtered 10.22 million cattle and produced over 2.33 million tons of meat, 30% of which was consumed domestically.
