Argentina's fishery exports to fall in 2023

Argentina's seafood exports in 2023 amounted to US$1.757 billion, marking a 2.3% decrease from the previous year, according to El Nacional. This decline is linked to a reduction in catch sizes and international prices. The primary markets for Argentina's seafood exports are Europe, Asia, and America, with Spain, China, and the United States being the leading destinations, receiving 21.2%, 14.6%, and 10.4% of the total exports respectively. The main exports include red shrimp, squid, and cod.
