Argentine blueberries record peak in week 42

The peak of Argentine blueberry exports was in weeks 42/43, and in week 45 shipments picked up again, with 360 tons destined for the United States, as commented by the president of the Argentine Blueberry Committee (ABC), Jorge Pazos. Pazos explained that currently the industry is still in the fruit harvest, with conditions of cool days in the morning, heat in the afternoon and with some intermittence of some rains in certain areas, ending approximately in week 51 or 52. “We were surprised by the lack of fruit that occurred in the southern hemisphere and that sparked a lot of interest in fruit from Argentina, which was not exempt from climatic problems either.
