Argentine pork arrives in the Philippines for the first time

The Philippines is the sixth largest importer in the world, ahead of key destinations such as the United States, Canada and Japan. Argentina has successfully completed its first pork export to the Philippine market, a recently opened and rapidly expanding market that ranks sixth in the world for imports of this product. This first shipment consists of pork offal that is not consumed locally, creating new opportunities for added value and profit for Argentine producers. The operation was carried out by a leading national company based in Marcos Paz, Buenos Aires Province, from where the export was sent to the Asian country.
