Armenian cognac must undergo testing in isotope laboratories — Ministry of Economy

Armenia intends to create isotope laboratories by 2025 to check the quality of Armenian cognac so that there are no problems abroad when exporting this alcoholic beverage. This was stated by the country's Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan at a briefing. "Armenian cognac is our national brand, we must follow the path of improving quality. That is why we are thinking of creating an isotope laboratory by 2025 to check the quality of cognac exported from Armenia. If these laboratories cannot be created in Armenia, then it is necessary to conclude contracts with international companies so that the exported cognac undergoes the appropriate testing," he noted.
