Artichoke production in Aydın is on the rise

Geographically marked Aydın Artichoke, with its 6,615-ton production in 2024, became one of Turkey's strongest production centers, while Ayhan Temiz, the Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, conducted inspections in Gölhisar fields. Aydın, one of Turkey's most important agricultural production centers, continues to reveal both its production power and quality potential with its geographically marked Aydın Artichoke. According to 2024 TUIK data, 38,770 tons of artichoke were produced across Turkey, with Aydın ranking second in the country with its 6,615-ton production.
