Between October 2023 and September 2024, global coffee exports reached 150 million 60kg bags, with South America leading as the largest producer region, accounting for 44% of the total with a 30.7% increase from the previous period. Brazil and Colombia were the primary contributors to this growth. Asia & Oceania's exports saw a slight decrease, largely due to Vietnam, while Africa's exports surged by 17.3%, driven by Ethiopia. Mexico & Central America experienced a minor drop in exports, mainly from Honduras and Nicaragua, but Guatemala and Mexico saw growth. Soluble coffee exports increased by 11.6%, while global exports of roasted beans were much lower in the same period. These findings are based on the Coffee Market Report – October 2024 by the International Coffee Organization (ICO).
