As the weather grows colder, oysters become increasingly plump, and Rongcheng city's major marine ranches are welcoming the oyster harvest season, with aquaculture workers accelerating the collection to supply domestic and international markets.
In the processing workshop of Rongcheng Huiying Foodstuffs Co., Ltd., workers are speeding up the production of oyster products for export. "Foreign customers have very strict requirements for oyster products, with clear standards for the size and content of each can of oysters," explained Zhang Huifen, the person in charge of Huiying Foodstuffs.
In response to the seasonal nature of oyster products, the Rongcheng Customs under Qingdao Customs has implemented "one-company-one-policy" precision services, actively connecting with the enterprises' export plans, and opening a "green channel." Measures such as appointment inspection, rapid testing, and priority certification have been adopted to improve clearance efficiency. At the same time, customs officers also promptly sort out and guide enterprises to master the entry requirements, food safety standards, and changes in limit indicators of the destination countries (regions), helping enterprises continuously improve their quality management systems, enhance product quality, and expand export order volume.
According to statistics, from January to October this year, Rongcheng city exported 674.5 tons of oyster products, a year-on-year increase of 13.4%. (Guo Rui/text)
