REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, INDRAMAY — Indramayu Regency is entering the peak harvest season of the 2025 rice planting season. However, unlike previous years, rice prices remain high, allowing farmers to enjoy greater profits. The Chairman of the Leading Fishermen's Farmers Contact (KTNA) of Indramayu Regency, Sutatang, said that the price of dry harvested rice (GKP) at the farmer level currently ranges between Rp7,500 to Rp7,700 per kilogram. This figure is far above the government's purchase price (HPP) set at Rp6,500 per kilogram. Meanwhile, milled dry rice (GKG) is sold at around Rp8,500 per kilogram.
