Asia benefits from global corn market restructuring in 2026

Rabobank’s “Outlook 2026” report shows a gradual recovery in the global corn market following weather shocks in the 2024/25 season. While US yields declined due to drought, Brazil’s harvest stabilized prices below $5 per bushel. For the 2025/26 season, Rabobank forecasts record export volumes from the US and Argentina, as more Brazilian corn will be processed domestically for ethanol production. This will open up additional opportunities for other global suppliers. Feed importers in Asia, particularly in Southeast Asia, will benefit from expanded global supply and stable prices.
