Indonesia: Association ready to support Bapanas in maintaining meat price stability ahead of Christmas and New Year

Ahead of the 2025 Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Association of Small and Medium-Scale Meat Entrepreneurs (Aspedata Indonesia) has expressed its support for the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) steps in maintaining price stability and availability of meat in the market. The Chairperson of Aspedata Indonesia, Diana Dewi, ensured that the stock of meat in the warehouse owned by PT Suri Nusantara Jaya—the company she leads—is in a safe condition. She also emphasized that the distribution of meat to various markets and outlets is running smoothly. "The price is stable and we can ensure that there is always availability in the market. Currently, the average price of pure meat is in accordance with the Bapanas price panel, which is IDR 134,600 per kilogram," said Diana.
