(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Jeon Jae-hoon = The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) announced that it will hold a discount event in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs from the 24th to the 15th of next month to promote the consumption of products made from domestic wheat, soybeans, and glutinous rice flour.
Consumers can purchase tofu, soy milk, noodles, snacks, and other products made from domestic wheat, soybeans, and glutinous rice flour at 931 nationwide stores of three distribution companies, including GS Retail, Hansallim, and Dure Sanghyeop, and receive a discount of 3,000 won for every 10,000 won spent.
The purchase limit is 100,000 won, with a maximum support of 30,000 won. The participating stores and items can be checked on the respective websites of the distribution companies.
Mun In-cheol, aT Supply & Demand Director, said, "We will continue to push various projects to activate the consumption of domestic wheat, soybeans, and glutinous rice flour in the future."
