At the end of 2021, the Tambov region in Russia has increased the export of milled products by 19 times

At the end of 2021, the export of milled products from the Tambov region increased by more than 19 times compared to the previous year, the Federal Center for the Development of Exports of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reported. The main share in the export of this category of goods falls on wheat flour. Last year, the Tambov region exported 4.57 thousand tons of flour to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Belarus. Tambov flour is used for the manufacture of bakery, pasta, dumplings and is sold throughout Russia. According to the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov region, for the first time this year, wheat bran began to be exported. In 2021, more than 15 thousand tons of the product were exported, the main buyer is Turkey.
