The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service of Peru (Senamhi) released the agroclimatic risk forecast for cocoa cultivation corresponding to the October–December 2025 quarter. In the northern and central jungle, it is estimated that rainfall will range between lower and upper normal values, while daytime and nighttime temperatures will remain between normal to higher levels. Northern Jungle For the coffee-growing areas of San Martín, it is expected that in October, rainfall will occur according to its seasonality, while in November, precipitations above the normal are anticipated in most of the region, although with rainfall below the average in the northern high jungle. For December, a normalization of precipitation is expected throughout the region. As for temperatures, values above historical averages would be recorded.
