In September, Australia's chickpea exports increased to 27.31 thousand tons from 19.81 thousand tons in August, as reported by the Australia Bureau of Statistics. Bangladesh was the largest importer, bringing in 11.24 thousand tons, followed by Pakistan with 5.97 thousand tons and the United Arab Emirates with 3.59 thousand tons. Since the start of the current marketing year, Australia's chickpea exports have totaled 310.73 thousand tons, which is 4% higher than the previous season.
