The World Avocado Organization (WAO) has expanded its presence in Europe by partnering with 30 retailers in 12 countries, including major chains like Carrefour and Tesco, creating a network of over 35,000 supermarkets. In France, where avocado consumption is increasing but still lags behind neighboring countries, WAO is organizing in-store events, tastings, and creating videos to raise awareness among consumers. The organization aims to emphasize the health benefits and various preparation methods of avocados to drive market growth and catch up with Scandinavian consumption levels.
