Chile: The first Global Avocado Summit was held with great attendance

The first edition of the Global Avocado Summit 2024, organized jointly by the Chilean Avocado Committee and Yentzen Group, was held with a full auditorium. The activity brought together national and international actors from the sector, who enjoyed talks focused on analysis, statistics, consumer trends, commercialization, marketing and sustainability, among others. The Global Avocado Summit corresponds to the renewed version of the traditional 'Avocado Day' that was held in the country and is being resumed after seven years. The avocado industry has changed greatly in the world, especially in Chile. Today there are new supplier countries, growing markets, an increase in local consumption and several challenges, such as promoting sustainability.
