Peruvian avocado shipments, in their different presentations, totaled $917,349,000 between January and June of this year, registering a growth of 16% compared to the same period in 2024. This result is mainly attributed to the increase in orders from the Netherlands, according to the Agroexport Management of the Association of Exporters (ADEX). The Netherlands ($308,000,000) consolidated itself as the main destination, concentrating 33.5% of the total and increasing its demand by 18%. It was followed by Spain ($154,000,000), which reduced its orders by -3.3%, and the United States ($134,000,000), with a notable increase of 42.4%. These last two accounted for a joint participation of 31.4%. Other relevant markets were the United Kingdom ($69,000,000), China ($55,000,000), Chile ($51,397,000), Japan ($31,671,000), Russia ($28,520,000), South Korea ($16,170,000), and Italy ($14,375,000), with variations of 36.4%, 21.2%, -38.8%, 56.6%, 83.5%, 27.4%, and 37.9%, respectively.
