With the aim of guaranteeing water security, the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Ayacucho initiated the construction of the qocha Ñahuinpuquio, in the populated center of Ccochapampa, Vinchos district, Huamanga province. The work will allow the capture and storage of 17,000 cubic meters of water during the rainy season. The ceremony for the laying of the first stone was presided over by the regional director of Agriculture, Ing. Fredy Prado Maciso, who highlighted that this infrastructure will contribute to recovering the ecosystem services of water regulation and will strengthen the agricultural activity of the area.
